Management International University

Management International University (MIU) is a university offering accessible and high-quality diplomas anywhere in the world. We focus on increasing our students' knowledge, critical thinking abilities and innovative ideas to help positively impact their communities. The diplomas are developed to produce tangible skills to help our students move forward in their careers, whether in the private, public or not-for-profit sectors.

At MIU we strongly believe that by giving young people the tools to increase their own economic circumstances, they will be better equipped to contribute to a stronger overall local, and national economy. Our courses combine ethical leadership with business management and entrepreneurship to create syllabuses that will mobilise communities towards sustainable economic development.

MIU is building a rapidly expanding alumni network of development leaders, policy makers, activists and entrepreneurs who are focused on making a lasting impact in their communities. Through instilling the ethical values of MIU that are orientated around human rights and peacebuilding in our young entrepreneurs, we create alumni that contribute to building a better world around them.

We know that there are many barriers to accessing quality education across the globe. With the higher use of mobile phones and technological advances, we hope to mitigate many of those barriers through our platform.

Mission

Our objectives

The University fosters a love of education. We strive for excellence in education, in collaborative research and reaching places never before able to access degree courses. The aim is to be a leading part of the self-determination movement in terms of research, debate and impact.

Management International successfully achieved its University licence in 2018 and acts as a non-profit making institution, aiming to equip individuals with the relevant business and life skills to make tangible contributions to their communities.

01To train the next generation of leaders seeking change, improvement and development.
02To break down the barriers to education, both financial and academic, and give everyone the chance to study for a degree.
03To educate those who show promise but lack opportunity, and to support disenfranchised and marginalised communities.
04To commit itself to the values of human rights and civil rights, nurturing an atmosphere of democratic debate.
05To provide free or low-cost education, build community bonds and provide opportunities for collaborative research.
History

Our history

2006

MI offered first-degree programmes and provided training for some 100 undergraduates and graduates each year, and participated in two large-scale European Union funded consultancies, including the EU Leonardo 2 programme with partners across Europe. Until 2006, over 3,000 students graduated from Management International.

2010

MI helped to create E-college, drafting assessment scales for modules and setting credit levels. MIU participated in a second consultancy project which involved setting assessment levels to allow young unemployed people to assess their language needs for employment.

2018

Management International obtained accreditation to become a University, launched new partnerships and created a global student network.
